Our goal at Fontself is to help creatives get into type-making and enjoy original fonts in a fun way. As a business we sell creative tools, services and content that are easy to use and engaging, and we process user data to improve both your experience and our services.
Please read the following to learn more and understand our privacy and cookie policy (this "Privacy Policy"). This Privacy Policy (together with our Terms of Service) outlines how Fontself will process and use any personal information that you provide Fontself or that Fontself collects from you.
Fontself provides users with access to a collection of resources as part of the Fontself platform, including its website www.fontself.com (the “Fontself Website”), font creation software, design and communications tools like Fontself Maker, extensions, apps, hosting services, fonts, forums and personalized content, which may be accessed through any medium or device now known or hereafter developed (the "Services").
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to our use of your personal information and to be bound by Privacy Policy.

Fontself may set and access a Fontself cookie on your computer in order to identify you and collect data on your usage of our Services. Fontself uses web beacons to access its cookies within the Fontself Website, in connection with the Services and to track your activities when you use products services on partners’s websites.
When you register for an Account or submit information to Fontself, a temporary copy (“backup”) of that information is routinely made to prevent accidental loss of your information through a computer malfunction or human error.
Fontself keeps your Account information active in our user registration databases in order to provide immediate access to your personalization preferences and advanced features each time you visit the Fontself Website.
As Fontself servers (specialized computers) service your requests for pages or fonts, they process and store an enormous amount of information which is recorded and stored (or “logged”) daily on “log” files.
These log files are used for analysis, research, auditing, and other purposes, as described above. Once this information has been used, it is stored for safekeeping and is not accessible to any third parties; however, until the information is stored, your Account may remain in our active server’s log files for an indefinite period of time.
You have the ability change your Account Information at any time, including whether you want Fontself to contact you about specials, new products and for customer feedback and you may request deletion of your Account at any time by contacting our team and confirming the edits or your choice to terminate the account.
Upon receiving your request for deletion, your Account will be deactivated and all Account Information and User Content will be deleted from our user registration database.
Please note that any information that we have copied may remain in back-up storage for some period of time after your deletion request. This may be the case even though no information about your account remains in our active user databases.
A publicly accessible area is any area of Fontself that is accessible by the general public and may be indexed by search engines.
Fontself, on the Fontself Website and through its partners, offers you the opportunity to post, submit and exchange content and information on publicly accessible areas, such as leaving comments on public forums, public walls (in social networks), blogs, or simply by sending a message (if the recipient ever decides to publish it online).
You should exercise caution if you choose to disclose personally identifiable information in a publicly accessible area of the Fontself Website, Services or through our partners. Remember that this information may remain indefinitely publicly accessible. You are solely responsible for any personally identifiable information that you disclose and disseminate on publicly accessible areas.
If you have a concern about any personally identifiable information you have posted on any publicly accessible areas and are unable to delete or edit it, please contact our team.
User acknowledges that the use of the internet is not safe and that there are certain inherent risks to your personal data. Fontself shall make reasonable efforts to protect your personal data but it cannot guarantee or warrant that data you provide to Fontself is safe and protected from unauthorized third party access and it therefore waives all liability in this respect.
Your personal information will be collected and processed in France, regardless of the country you are resident or from which you are using our Services. Fontself may transfer and export the data to other countries, including the USA, even if such country does not offer the same level of data protection as France or that of your country of residence.
Fontself may make your personal information available to governmental authorities when required to do so and in the event of illegal activities, or violations of the Terms of Service. Your personal information will be stored by Fontself in accordance with the provisions of applicable data protection and telecommunication laws. Fontself will keep and delete your personal information in accordance with such provisions, unless we receive orders from state authorities, such as courts, requiring to store and maintain such personal data at the disposal of the authorities.
You may at any time, request access to User’s personal information collected by Fontself, request that inaccurate information be amended, or that the collected personal data be erased. Such request for access must be sent either by:

- email to hello@fontself.com (if you are not writing to us from the same email as the one you used during your purchase, please include a copy of an official identification document along with a related justification).
Fontself may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Fontself may notify you about substantial changes in the way we use your personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Fontself account, or by posting a prominent notice on the Services.
It is your responsibility to consult the Fontself Website from time to time, take notice of any changes, and contact our team if you do not agree with the new Privacy Policy and wish to stop using the Services.
